Flutter Developer - Mid Level

Focus: Flutter Mobile Development | FastAPI Integration | Performance | Scalable ArchitectureRoleBuild scalable, responsive and high-performance Flutter applications for HDSL’s Drone-as-a-Service platform.Own features from UI development and API integration through testing, debugging and production readiness.Work closely with FastAPI backend developers to deliver secure and reliable mobile experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop clean, modular, reusable and maintainable Flutter/Dart code.Build intuitive UI/UX with strong focus on creativity, performance and responsiveness.Integrate Flutter applications with FastAPI REST APIs effectively.Handle JSON serialization/deserialization, API errors, pagination and data mapping.Implement JWT-secured APIs, access/refresh tokens and secure authentication flows.Use appropriate State Management such as Riverpod, Provider or BLoC.Apply strong async programming using Futures, Streams and asynchronous workflows.Work with SQL, relational databases, Pydantic models and API schemas.Implement local storage and caching using SQLite.Troubleshoot CORS middleware, headers, HTTP status codes and API connectivity.Manage environment-specific API URLs, secrets and application configuration securely.Proactively identify performance, API, database and UX issues.Required SkillsStrong Flutter and Dart development experience.Strong understanding of reusable widgets, app architecture and performance optimization.Hands-on experience with FastAPI integration, REST APIs, JWT and JSON.Good knowledge of SQL, relational databases and SQLite.Working understanding of FastAPI, Pydantic and backend concepts.Strong debugging, problem-solving and Git skills.Creative, proactive and ownership-driven development mindset.Ability to use AI-assisted development tools effectively for coding, debugging, testing and productivity.
