FMS Supervisor

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Oversee daily operations of facility management, ensuring buildings, equipment, andinfrastructure are maintained to high standards.2. Supervise safety programs, ensuring compliance with occupational health, fire safety,and environmental regulations.3. Conduct regular facility inspections to identify hazards, risks, and maintenance needs.4. Lead emergency preparedness planning, including evacuation drills, fire safety protocols, and crisis response.5. Manage vendor contracts and monitor service delivery for maintenance, security, and safety systems.6. Train and guide staff on safety procedures, workplace hazards, and compliance requirements.7. Prepare reports on facility performance, safety audits, and incident investigations for senior management.8. Act as the primary point of contact for facility-related emergencies and safety incidents.Knowledge, skills, and abilities:1. In-depth knowledge of facility management best practices and safetyregulations.2. Strong analytical skills for risk assessment, incident investigation, and operationalefficiency.3. Ability to lead diverse teams and foster a culture of safety and accountability.4. Competence in emergency response planning and crisis management.5. Knowledge of sustainability practices and energy efficiency measures.6. Ability to prepare clear reports and present findings to senior management.Experience:1. Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in facilities management and occupationalsafety.2. At least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role overseeing facility andsafety operations.3. Proven track record in managing maintenance teams, safety programs, andcompliance audits.4. Experience working with large-scale facilities or multi-site operations is preferred.5. Background in managing budgets and implementing cost-saving initiatives.Qualifications and Requirements:1. Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Occupational Safety, orrelated field.
• Master’s degree is an advantage.2. Certification:
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH, or IFMA are highlypreferred.3. Language Proficiency:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency isa plus).4. Other Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety,security).
• Excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for staff, vendors, and stakeholders.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and problem-solving ability.
• Proficiency in MS Office and facility/safety management software.
