are seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Training Manager to lead training strategy, learning programs, service standards, competency development, and performance improvement across food and beverage operations.The ideal candidate will design and deliver practical training programs covering service excellence, product knowledge, food safety, operational procedures, leadership, customer service, and commercial performance while ensuring training outcomes are measurable and aligned with business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement comprehensive Food & Beverage training strategies aligned with operational and business objectives.Conduct training-needs assessments across restaurants, bars, catering operations, outlets, venues, kitchens, and hospitality teams.Identify competency gaps and develop targeted learning plans to address performance requirements.Design and deliver training programs for front-of-house, back-of-house, supervisory, and management teams.Develop training curricula covering service standards, guest experience, product knowledge, menu knowledge, upselling, and operational procedures.Develop structured onboarding and induction programs for new Food & Beverage employees.Create role-specific training plans, competency frameworks, learning paths, and certification requirements.Develop training materials including manuals, presentations, videos, job aids, checklists, assessments, and standard operating procedures.Ensure training content reflects current company policies, brand standards, menus, products, and operational requirements.Deliver classroom, workshop, practical, coaching, e-learning, and on-the-job training.Conduct service simulations, role plays, demonstrations, assessments, and practical evaluations.Train employees on food safety, hygiene, allergen awareness, sanitation, responsible service, and applicable regulatory requirements.Deliver customer-service training focused on communication, service recovery, complaint handling, personalization, and guest engagement.Develop commercial training covering suggestive selling, upselling, cross-selling, menu presentation, and revenue awareness.Train employees on point-of-sale systems, payment procedures, ordering platforms, reservations, and other operational technologies.Support training related to opening new outlets, venues, restaurants, catering operations, and hospitality concepts.Coordinate pre-opening training programs and ensure teams achieve required competency before launch.Conduct service observations and operational assessments to identify training and performance gaps.Work with Operations Managers to translate operational issues into practical training interventions.Partner with Human Resources and Learning and Development teams on talent development and succession planning.Develop leadership and supervisory programs for F&B supervisors, managers, and emerging leaders.Coach managers on performance management, team development, communication, and service leadership.Establish standardized Food & Beverage service standards across locations and operating units.Conduct train-the-trainer programs and develop internal trainers and departmental training champions.Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, observations, audits, employee feedback, and operational performance data.Track employee attendance, completion, certification, assessment results, and competency records.Maintain accurate training calendars, learning records, training materials, and compliance documentation.Manage external training providers, consultants, subject-matter experts, and learning partners where required.Coordinate training schedules to minimize operational disruption while maintaining adequate staffing.Support internal audits, quality assessments, mystery-shopping programs, and service-standard reviews.Analyze guest feedback, complaints, quality findings, and operational KPIs to identify learning opportunities.Develop corrective training plans following service failures, safety incidents, audit findings, or recurring performance issues.Ensure training programs are inclusive, accessible, practical, and suitable for diverse and multicultural teams.Monitor industry trends, hospitality practices, service innovations, and emerging training technologies.Introduce digital learning, mobile learning, learning-management systems, simulations, and other technology-enabled training solutions.Develop annual training budgets and monitor expenditure against approved plans.Prepare management reports covering training activity, completion, competency, effectiveness, costs, and business impact.Establish continuous-improvement processes for Food & Beverage training standards and learning programs.Support organizational change initiatives by preparing employees for new systems, menus, concepts, processes, and service models.Key competency.Ideal CandidateThe successful candidate should have strong experience in Food & Beverage training, hospitality learning and development, restaurant operations, hotel operations, catering, banquet operations, or service excellence.The candidate should demonstrate:Proven experience designing and delivering Food & Beverage training programs.Strong practical understanding of restaurant, catering, hospitality, or F&B operations.Excellent knowledge of service standards, guest experience, food safety, and operational procedures.Experience developing competency frameworks, training materials, assessments, and certification programs.Strong facilitation, presentation, coaching, and instructional-design skills.Experience training multicultural and geographically distributed teams.Strong understanding of adult-learning principles and practical workplace training.Experience developing supervisors, managers, trainers, and frontline employees.Strong analytical skills with
