Team members have opportunities to learn global hospitality standards and contribute to a professional, service-oriented culture.Role Description The Food and Beverage Intern will support the hotel’s restaurant, bar, and banquet operations by assisting with food and drink service, maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards, and ensuring a positive guest experience. Daily tasks include helping set up dining areas, taking and delivering orders, supporting buffet or event service, and coordinating with kitchen and service staff to provide efficient, courteous service. The intern will also assist with basic food preparation under supervision, follow hygiene and safety procedures, and learn hotel F&B standards and operating procedures. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Best Western Plus Kathmandu Hotel in Kathmandu.QualificationsStrong interest and basic understanding of Food Service and Food & Beverage operations.Customer Service skills with a focus on hospitality, guest satisfaction, and professional demeanor.Clear and courteous Communication skills for interacting with guests and collaborating with team members.Ability to follow hygiene, safety, and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to work flexible shiftsEnrollment in or completion of a hospitality, tourism, or culinary program is an advantage.Basic English language skills; additional languages are a plus.
