Food and Beverage Manager

About the Role:We are looking for an experienced and passionate Food & Beverage Manager to lead the F&B operations at The Postcard Hotels.The role is responsible for creating exceptional, personalised dining experiences while ensuring the highest standards of service, product quality, presentation, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a hands-on hospitality professional who understands luxury, has strong leadership skills, and brings a genuine passion for food, beverage, and guest experiences.Key Responsibilities:Lead the day-to-day operations of all F&B outlets and in-room/private dining experiences.Deliver warm, personalised and intuitive service aligned with Postcard's luxury hospitality philosophy.Ensure consistently high standards of food quality, beverage quality, service, hygiene and presentation.Lead, coach and develop the F&B team to build a strong service culture.Manage staffing, scheduling, training, performance and departmental discipline.Drive F&B revenues through thoughtful menu planning, upselling and innovative guest experiences.Monitor food and beverage costs, wastage, inventory and departmental profitability.Work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure seamless coordination between kitchen and service.Handle guest feedback and service recovery with maturity, ownership and discretion.Plan and execute special dining experiences, private events and bespoke guest requests.Ensure compliance with all statutory, food safety, hygiene and brand standards.Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and ensure appropriate quality and cost control.Analyse departmental performance and implement measures to improve productivity and profitability.What We Are Looking For:5–8 years of relevant F&B experience, preferably in luxury hotels, boutique resorts or high-end independent restaurants.Experience managing multiple F&B operations within a resort environment is preferred.Strong knowledge of food, wine, beverages and contemporary service standards.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong commercial understanding with the ability to manage costs and drive revenue.Natural leadership ability with a hands-on approach.High attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics and service.Ability to remain calm, composed and solution-oriented in demanding situations.A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.Luxury hospitality experience is highly preferred, and career stability will be an important consideration.The Postcard Person:You are someone who believes that luxury is not about formality - it is about being thoughtful, observant and genuinely caring.You notice the little things, empower your team, take ownership of problems and understand that every guest interaction is an opportunity to create a lasting memory.If you are passionate about food, people and extraordinary hospitality, we would love to hear from you.
