Dining options include the Derg Room restaurant and O’Hara’s Bar, which cater to casual bites, family gatherings, romantic meals, and afternoon tea.Role Description The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations within the hotel, including the restaurant, bar, and special events. This full-time, on-site role based in Killaloe involves managing service standards, supervising team members, coordinating menus and promotions, and ensuring a high-quality guest experience. The manager will schedule staff, monitor daily operations, and work closely with the kitchen team to maintain consistency in product quality and presentation. The role includes managing budgets, inventory, and cost controls, as well as handling guest feedback and implementing continuous improvements. The Food and Beverage Manager will also support staff training, compliance with health and safety regulations, and collaboration with other departments to deliver seamless service for weddings, conferences, and family breaks.Qualifications Strong Food Service and Food & Beverage management skills, with experience in restaurant and bar operations.Demonstrated Customer Service expertise, focused on delivering memorable, guest-centered experiences.Experience in Training and developing diverse teams, including coaching, performance feedback, and onboarding.Proficiency in Budgeting, cost control, and inventory management within a hospitality environment.Previous experience in hotel or resort food and beverage operations, ideally in a similar leisure or destination setting.Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities, with a hands-on management style.Knowledge of health, safety, and food hygiene regulations, with commitment to compliance and best practices.Relevant qualification in hospitality management, culinary arts, or a related field is desirable.
