Role Description The Food and Beverage Manager at Maison Albar Hotels is a full-time, on-site role based in Nîmes, responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations to ensure an exceptional guest experience. This role includes managing restaurant, bar, and banquet services, supervising daily service standards, and coordinating menus and offerings in collaboration with culinary teams. The manager will lead and schedule front-of-house teams, monitor quality and hygiene standards, manage supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. They will also analyze sales, control costs, manage budgets, and implement strategies to increase revenue and guest satisfaction. Regular responsibilities include handling guest feedback, supporting team training and development, and working closely with hotel leadership to align F&B operations with the brand’s premium positioning.Qualifications Strong expertise in Food Service and Food & Beverage operations, with a proven ability to manage high-quality dining experiences.Excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction, complaint resolution, and personalized service.Experience in Training team members, including onboarding, coaching, and performance development.Competence in Budgeting, cost control, and basic financial analysis to optimize profitability.Prior experience in hotel or upscale restaurant F&B management is highly beneficial.Ability to lead diverse teams, work collaboratively, and maintain a respectful, inclusive work environment.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and operational efficiency.Proficiency in relevant point-of-sale and reservation systems; familiarity with inventory management tools is an advantage.Professional communication skills in French; additional languages, especially English, are a plus.Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by hotel operations.
