FOOD Logistics Staff (Food Manufacturing) (CA/YM)

A food manufacturing company is seeking a FOOD Logistics Staff to join their team in Garden Grove, CA. This position is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Logistics Department in the shipping and receiving of company products and materials. An associates degree, some admin or logistics experience, proficiency in NetSuite, Microsoft Office and data entry and computer skills are required. This is a full-time, non-exempt, in-person position with excellent benefits and 401k.FOOD Logistics Staff Duties:- Answer phones and provide customer service-Communicate through company email and Microsoft Teams-Schedule appointments for deliveries and pickups-Ensure pickup drivers' trucks are sanitary and meet applicable requirements-Inform receivers of incoming deliveries.-Enter and maintain data related to inventory management-Conduct physical inventory counts.-Process invoice-Print and scan Bills of Lading (BOLs)-Check and monitor open orders, create and edit sales orders-Receive deliveries from carriers such as UPS and FedEx-Organize and verify logistics documents, including BOLs and freight bills-Communicate with brokers and dispatchers regarding loading information and schedules-Perform other logistics-related duties as assignedFOOD Logistics Staff Skills:-Must have an associate’s degree-Some administration, customer service or logistics experience-Must have proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Office-Data entry and computer skills-Customer service and communication skills-Attention to detail****If interested, please apply with your most updated resume including your minimum salary requirement and why you left/or are looking to leave your current company. ****----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Activ8 West- Los Angeles (Japanese Recruiting Company) Recruitment & Solutions / Renaissance Resources Inc., has been a trusted leader in North American recruiting for Japanese businesses for over 25 years.
