Location: Baltimore, Maryland, United StatesJob Type: Direct HireOpenings: 3 positionsAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Food Operations Manager to lead on-site food service operations in a high-volume dining environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service or hospitality management, excellent people-leadership skills, and a proven ability to deliver high-quality service while managing operational and financial performance.In this role, you will oversee daily operations, lead and develop teams, maintain food safety and quality standards, build strong client relationships, and execute operational strategies that support service excellence and business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage on-site food service teams and daily operations.Set operational priorities and effectively deploy people, equipment, and resources.Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members to achieve performance and service goals.Conduct performance evaluations and pay reviews and participate in hiring and termination decisions.Oversee food quality, food safety, service delivery, and operational standards.Manage high-volume dining operations while achieving financial and operational targets.Develop and execute operational and strategic plans aligned with client objectives.Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients and key stakeholders.Ensure contractual commitments, service standards, and client expectations are consistently met.Support HACCP programs and ensure compliance with applicable food safety and regulatory requirements.Promote culinary standards, sustainability initiatives, and best practices across operations.Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, quality, and guest satisfaction.Collaborate effectively with culinary, operations, HR, finance, and other organizational teams.Use industry knowledge, business insight, and operational data to support long-term service and client success.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Food Service Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.3+ years of management experience.3+ years of experience in food service, hospitality, dining, or operations.Proven experience leading, training, and developing food service teams.Experience managing high-volume dining or food service operations.Working knowledge of HACCP principles and applicable food safety regulations.Strong commitment to food quality, service excellence, and guest satisfaction.Experience developing and executing operational or strategic plans.Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Demonstrated ability to manage financial and operational performance.Interest in culinary excellence, sustainability, continuous improvement, and operational innovation.What We're Looking ForThe successful candidate will be a hands-on leader who can balance people, service, quality, safety, and financial performance.
