SHG operates 111 properties across 26 countries, committed to delivering authentic and diverse hospitality experiences that bring people together around the world.We are looking for energetic and service-oriented Food Runners/ Waiter Assistants to join our lifestyle brands in Dubai.The Food Runner will support the service team by delivering food quickly and accurately from the kitchen to guests. The successful candidate must be able to work efficiently in a busy, high-volume environment while maintaining excellent presentation, hygiene and guest-service standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver food promptly to the correct tables and guests.Check dishes for accuracy, presentation and completeness before leaving the kitchen.Clearly announce dishes and communicate allergy or dietary information.Coordinate with waiters, supervisors and kitchen employees during service.Assist with clearing, resetting and maintaining clean service areas.Handle plates and service equipment safely and professionally.Follow food-safety, hygiene and brand-service standards.Support the wider front-of-house team during busy periods.Ideal CandidatePrevious experience as a Food Runner, Commis Waiter or Waiter Assistant is preferred.Experience within a busy restaurant, beach club or lifestyle-dining concept.Good English communication skills.Energetic, presentable and guest-focused.Strong teamwork, speed and attention to detail.
