قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجThe Food Science Technician, Research & Development, will work with the Senior Manager, Research & Development to collect data that will measure product shelf life, prepare bench samples, and assist in the product development process as needed.Essential Job Functions:Support development of powder products by collecting data from finished goods and bench studies.Accurately record and enter analytical data using pH meter, viscometer, density meter, and other lab equipment.Assist in the preparation of small-scale batches of experimental formulations.Support raw material preparation for pilot trials and preparation for cross-functional product cuttings.Participate in R&D sensory evaluations and conduct office-wide sensory evaluations of powder products.Calibrate and schedule servicing of lab equipment and maintain inventory of laboratory supplies.Comply with general laboratory safety and hygiene requirements.Take on additional tasks as needed to support company business objectives.Set individual goals for improving and expanding on everyday job functions, as well as on the greater social and environmental aspects of your work. Help us continue to evolve our commitment to the planet and the people we serve.Comply with all company policies and procedures.Salary$25.00 - $35.00 / hourBenefits AvailableExperience And Skill RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Food Science is required.Working knowledge of benchtop analytical and physical testing equipment and methods, including scales, pH meters, viscometers, and moisture analyzers.Good laboratory practices: cleanliness, organized data documentation, attention to detail, and ability to follow standard operating procedures.Excellent communication skills with a nature to proactively seek our answers when questions arise.Ability to work collaboratively, experience working through ambiguity. A drive for results and a can-do mentality is critical.Ability to drive and influence complex decision-making with various stakeholder groups and build consensus.2+ years of relevant experience working in CPG environment preferred.Strong organizational skills, detail orientation, and commitment.Self-directed with a demonstrated sense of accountability.Ability to adapt the changing needs of a dynamic growth-oriented business.This position requires ongoing sensory (tasting, smelling, touching, seeing) evaluation of many different types of foods and food ingredients with known allergens or sensitizers including but not limited to dairy, wheat, coconut, sesame, tree nuts, peanuts, sulfites, gluten, chocolate, fruit, natural sweeteners, colors.
