Joining Vibz Night Club means being part of a service-oriented team that contributes directly to guest satisfaction and the venue’s reputation. Responsibilities Run a station during allocated schedule, including taking the orders, looking after the service for food and beverage, and making sure that the items served are correctly inputted in the point of salePromote sales and build up good relationship with members and guests, and ensure a positive and lasting guest experience by obtaining direct feedbackLiaise with the kitchen on order taking, stock levels and any special requestsEnsure up-selling opportunities for cocktails, wine, sake and other beverages in liaison with Bar and Sommelier teamsHandle minor complaints in a professional and courteous mannerEnsure that all crockery, cutlery and any other objects and equipment needed for service are prepared and availableBe efficient in keeping food and beverage wastage to a minimumEnsure that the Lounge area is clean and presentable throughout the opening timesMonitor the daily checklist and ensure all opening and closing duties are completedRequirementsMinimum 2 years’ experience in same or similar role in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurantExcellent level of English, written and spokenDesirable knowledge of cocktailsKnowledge of Food and Beverage applicationsHave strong organisational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibilityExcellent team management, communication and listening skillsDemonstrate integrity in all dealings and maintain high level of confidentialityAbility to work long shifts and stand for the extended period of time
