Team members join a business that continues to evolve with energy, creativity, and a strong focus on quality.Role Description The Food Server role at Fait Maison is a full-time, on-site position based in London. The Food Server is responsible for welcoming guests, presenting menus, answering questions about dishes, and providing recommendations that reflect a strong understanding of Fait Maison’s cuisine and style. Daily tasks include taking orders accurately, coordinating with kitchen staff, serving food and beverages promptly, and ensuring tables are properly set, cleared, and reset. The role involves handling payments, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and adhering to food safety and hygiene standards. Food Servers contribute to a warm, efficient, and inclusive guest experience, supporting colleagues and assisting with service during busy periods.QualificationsStrong customer service skills, with the ability to create a welcoming and professional guest experience.Knowledge of food & beverage and food service practices, including menu familiarity and basic food safety awareness.Effective communication skills, with the ability to listen carefully, convey information clearly, and work collaboratively with the team.Basic cooking or kitchen familiarity is beneficial for understanding dishes and answering guest questions confidently.Previous experience in a restaurant, café, or hospitality environment preferred but not mandatory.Ability to work on-site in London, including evenings, weekends, and busy service periods as required.Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the capacity to stand and move for extended periods.Commitment to maintaining an inclusive, respectful environment for guests and colleagues.
