This role requires adaptability, teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, mobile environment.Key Responsibilities Food Preparation & CookingPrepare menu items according to established recipes and portion standardsMaintain cleanliness and organization of prep and cooking areasFollow all food safety and sanitation guidelines (ServSafe, HACCP, TCS standards)Customer ServiceGreet customers warmly and take orders accuratelyOperate POS systems and handle cash/card transactionsProvide menu guidance and answer customer questionsMaintain a friendly, upbeat attitude during busy service periodsTruck OperationsAssist with setup and breakdown of the truck at each service locationRestock ingredients, supplies, and packaging materialsMonitor inventory levels and communicate shortagesSupport loading/unloading equipment and suppliesCleaning & SanitationWash dishes, utensils, and equipment throughout serviceClean surfaces, floors, and workstations regularlyFollow closing procedures to ensure the truck is spotless and ready for the next shiftSafety & ComplianceAdhere to all local and state food safety regulationsMaintain proper time/temperature controls for TCS foodsReport any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly QualificationsPrior food service experience preferred but not requiredAbility to work in a fast-paced, high‑heat environmentStrong communication and teamwork skillsBasic math skills for POS operationAbility to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for extended periodsReliable transportation to various service locationsWork EnvironmentFast-paced, customer-facing mobile kitchenOutdoor settings with varying weather conditionsEvening, weekend, and event-based scheduling, including some holidaysCompensation & BenefitsHourly pay based on experienceTips shared among staffOpportunities for advancement within the businessEmployee meals during shifts and discount off shiftIdeal CandidateSomeone energetic, dependable, trustworthy and customer-focused who enjoys working with food, thrives in a dynamic environment, and takes pride in delivering great experiences.
