Greencovery’s proprietary separation technology allows food manufacturers to recover valuable products from their side-streams in a cost-effective way. Applying the developed technology to food manufacturing results in more productivity per unit of raw food, less waste and a reduced CO2 emission.Currently we are in the phase of scaling-up our cocoa ingredients upcycling technology yielding three unique food ingredients.You will be part of the Application-Commercialization development team and will work closely with the other teams of the company. We have an open atmosphere, with diverse nationalities and cultural perspectives.The positionThis ideal candidate thrives in the intersection between food ingredient science, application development, and technical sales support. You will be responsible for understanding the ingredients in depth, translating its physical and chemical properties into practical food applications, and generating clear proof of value through lab trials, kitchen prototypes, and customer-ready demonstrations.You will take ownership of the journey of the ingredients from the moment they come out of production until it is successfully introduced to potential customers.You will work closely with the process development team to analyze the (application) quality of the produced products in our planned pilot- and commercial production runs. Key responsibilities•       Ownership of assessment of production samples for composition, consistency, functionality, and application quality.•       Application development and production of prototype food products connected to the product portfolio and strategy of the target customer. •       Maintain technical documentation and ensuring knowledge is captured in a structured way.•       Help define how the ingredients should be positioned in the market, including identifying the most promising food categories and customer segments for each ingredient.•       Mapping the ingredient’s value proposition based on functionality, nutrition, sustainability, cost, sensory performance, and regulatory positioning and define key selling points, technical claims, and application opportunities.•       Create clear technical and commercial narratives for sales, marketing, and customer-facing teams.•       Contributing to product launch materials, technical data sheets, application guides, sample kits, and customer presentations.•       Joining customer meetings to present ingredient functionality and prototype results. Education and experience•       Background in Food Technology, Food Science, Biochemical Engineering, Food & Business, or similar•       >3 years of experience in a similar role for B2B Food Ingredients •       Proven track-record in product development of new ingredients to food manufacturers •       Motivated to learn and develop with a team player mindset•       Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Dutch is a plus•       Structured mindset, good communicator, customer focused, strong presentation skills, persistent, flexible.Interested?Please send your CV and cover letter (motivation) to info@greencovery.com before the 15th of August 2026.
