This role is responsible for performing electro-mechanical maintenance and repairs on forklifts and related material-handling equipment, including inspecting components, diagnosing issues, and executing corrective and preventive maintenance tasks. The technician will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, replace or repair faulty parts, and ensure equipment meets safety and performance standards. Daily activities include documenting work performed, coordinating with operations teams to schedule maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement of maintenance processes. The role may also involve assisting with equipment upgrades, adhering to workplace safety regulations, and collaborating with other technicians to minimize equipment downtime.Qualifications Ability to perform Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance on forklifts and electro-mechanical systems.Proficiency in Corrective Maintenance, including diagnosing faults and restoring equipment to proper operating condition.Solid understanding of Electricity, including reading basic electrical schematics and working safely with electrical components.Strong Troubleshooting skills for identifying root causes of mechanical and electrical issues and implementing effective solutions.Technical diploma or vocational qualification in electro-mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field.Experience working with forklifts, material-handling equipment, or similar industrial machinery in a warehouse or factory environment.Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to industrial equipment and electrical work.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, service documentation, and equipment specifications.Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.Willingness to work on-site with flexible hours as needed to support operations and minimize downtime.
