Forklift Operator - Warehouse in charge

Key ResponsibilitiesManage overall warehouse and store operations.Supervise receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of materials.Ensure proper material identification, labeling, and storage.Maintain accurate stock records and inventory levels.Conduct periodic stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.Prepare GRNs, material issue notes, stock reports, and related warehouse documentation.Coordinate with procurement, logistics, production, and other departments.Ensure FIFO / FEFO practices are followed where applicable.Monitor loading and unloading activities.Ensure safe handling and storage of materials and equipment.Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, and proper space utilization.Supervise storekeepers, helpers, and warehouse staff.Ensure compliance with company procedures and HSE requirements.Support audits and provide inventory reports as required.RequirementsPrevious experience as a Warehouse In-Charge, Senior Storekeeper, Warehouse Supervisor, or Store Supervisor.Strong experience in warehouse operations and inventory management.Good knowledge of stock control, material handling, and warehouse documentation.Ability to manage warehouse staff and daily operations independently.Good knowledge of MS Excel and inventory / ERP systems.Strong organizational and coordination skills.Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.Forklift driving experience is preferred.Valid forklift licence/certification will be an added advantage.Key SkillsWarehouse Management | Store Management | Inventory Control | Stock Management | Material Handling | GRN | Material Issuance | Stock Reconciliation | Warehouse Operations | Logistics | ERP | MS Excel | FIFO | FEFO | Team Supervision | Loading & Unloading | Forklift Operation | HSE | Inventory Audit
