This role is not intended for candidates whose experience is limited to:Using FortiSIEM/FortiSOAR as an end userPresales or sales of Fortinet productsProduct demonstrations or commercial supportConsulting/advisory work without hands-on platform administrationGeneral Fortinet experience without practical FortiSIEM and FortiSOAR engineering experienceWe are looking for a hands-on FortiSOAR & FortiSIEM Engineer to support a major government entity in Dubai. The role involves the configuration, administration, monitoring, maintenance and integration of both platforms, including the development of security automation playbooks.Candidates should have proven hands-on experience operating FortiSIEM and FortiSOAR in a live environment.Must Have:5–6 years of relevant strong hands-on experience with FortiSOAR ideally also with FortiSEAM.Immediate or short notice availability!Proven experience with platform configuration and administration.Experience developing FortiSOAR playbooks and automation workflows.Experience with integrations between security platforms and other IT/security technologies.Good understanding of SOC operations, FortiSIEM, FortiSOAR, security monitoring and incident response.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Key ResponsibilitiesConfigure, administer, monitor and maintain FortiSIEM and FortiSOAR.Monitor security events and investigate alerts and incidents.Develop, configure and maintain SOAR playbooks and automation workflows.Perform integrations between FortiSIEM/FortiSOAR and other security and IT platforms.Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure system availability and stability.Support the optimization of the security monitoring and incident response environment.Work closely with cybersecurity and IT teams on incident detection, investigation and response.
