Forward Deployed Engineer – Agentic AI / GenAILocation: Berlin | Hybrid€95,000 – €120,000We are partnering with a fast-growing Data & AI consultancy entering its next stage of expansion, working with enterprise organisations.As demand for complex AI transformation programmes continues to grow, they are looking for Forward Deployed Engineers to take ownership of high-impact GenAI and ML implementations across multiple enterprise clients.The business is looking for someone who has genuinely delivered and led complex AI programmes in production environments, bridging the gap between technical implementation, stakeholder management, and measurable business outcomes.The OpportunityThis role sits directly at the intersection of AI engineering, consulting, and delivery leadership.You will work closely with enterprise customers to design, implement, and operationalise Agentic AI and GenAI solutions, acting as both a senior technical leader and trusted client-facing partner.The environment is fast-moving, technically ambitious, and highly delivery focused.You’ll join a technically strong team with significant exposure to executive stakeholders and multi-project ownership.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end delivery of complex GenAI, Agentic AI, and ML transformation programmes across enterprise environmentsWork directly with customers to understand business challenges and translate them into scalable AI solutionsDrive implementation of production-grade AI systems, not just architectural design or strategy definitionAct as the bridge between engineering teams, leadership stakeholders, and business usersOwn technical delivery across multiple concurrent projects with high visibility and commercial impactGuide clients on AI adoption, operationalisation, and integration into existing workflows and systemsCollaborate with internal engineering and consulting teams to ensure successful deployment and measurable outcomesSupport technical decision-making around AI architecture, tooling, workflows, and scalabilityIdeal BackgroundStrong experience delivering AI / GenAI / Machine Learning projects in production environmentsProven track record leading complex customer-facing implementations from discovery through deploymentExperience working with Agentic AI workflows, LLM-based systems, or modern AI orchestration toolingAbility to manage senior stakeholders and navigate enterprise delivery environments confidentlyStrong engineering fundamentals with the ability to remain hands-on when requiredExperience within consulting, forward deployed engineering, AI delivery, or technical transformation roles is highly advantageousStrong communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiencesIdeally worked with one major LLM API: Claude Code, GPT or Cursor etc.Big plus if you speak German.Team & CultureThe company is intentionally building a team of highly ambitious, entrepreneurial engineers who want more than just delivery ownership.People here are encouraged to challenge ideas, suggest new approaches, influence future AI offerings, and help shape how the business evolves as it scales.
