Founding Forward Deployed Engineer | Applied AI | NYCI’m working with an exceptionally fast-growing YC-backed applied AI startup looking for its first Forward Deployed Engineer.This is a rare opportunity to join at the ground floor of a company that has already reached multi-million-dollar ARR, while remaining an incredibly lean engineering team.You’ll work directly with the founders and customers to scope, build and deploy production AI systems tackling complex real-world problems across industries including fintech, healthcare, trust & safety and consumer.What you’ll own:→ Lead customer deployments end-to-end — from identifying the problem to shipping the solution→ Build production-grade AI products across voice AI, multimodal agents and agentic workflows→ Work directly with executives, operators and end users→ Ship quickly and continuously expand deployments as customers scale→ Have significant influence over the technical and commercial direction of the companyLooking for:

• 3+ years of strong software engineering experience
• Excellent engineering fundamentals — Python / TypeScript highly relevant
• Strong product instincts and customer empathy
• Comfortable operating with significant autonomy in a fast-moving environment
• Genuine fluency with modern AI tooling and workflows
