Now interviews.thita.ai will step us into the hiring side. You could ship something to:The AI interview platform.A new DSA learning experience.A System Design roadmap.A Computer Science learning path.An AI evaluation or feedback system.A completely new product experiment. You'll get exposure to the full loop:User problem → Investigation → Product idea → Engineering → Deployment → Feedback → IterationIf you like building quickly, working on ambiguous problems, and want to help define what AI-native technical education looks like, we'd love to talk. Our goal is simple:Build an AI-native technical education and interview platform that can understand where someone is, challenge them appropriately, and help them figure out what to learn next. What you'll be working onAs a Forward Deployed Engineer Intern, you'll work directly on problems across engineering, AI, product, and user experience.A significant part of the role will involve building and improving interviews.thita.ai : our AI interview platform. You'll help build experiences where candidates can:Take realistic AI-powered technical interviews.Practice DSA interviews with adaptive follow-up questions.Take resume-based interviews based on their actual experience and projects.Practice System Design interviews.Prepare for interviews in core Computer Science subjects.Receive detailed feedback on problem solving, communication, technical knowledge, and areas for improvement.Get personalized recommendations for what to learn and practice next. You'll also work on Thita's broader learning infrastructure, including structured learning paths for:Data Structures & AlgorithmsA pattern-based approach to DSA that helps users understand:What pattern is this problem testing, how do I recognize it, and when should I use it again?System DesignYou'll potentially help build learning and interview experiences around:High-Level DesignLow-Level DesignScalabilityDatabasesCachingLoad balancingDistributed systemsAPIs and service architectureReliability and fault toleranceReal-world architecture trade-offsCore Computer Science & EngineeringWe're also expanding Thita's learning paths and interview capabilities across core engineering subjects such as:Operating SystemsComputer NetworksDatabases and DBMSObject-Oriented ProgrammingA user performs poorly on database indexing questions during an interview → Thita identifies the underlying knowledge gap → recommends the exact concepts to learn → gives practice questions → brings those concepts back into a future interview. That's the kind of system you'll get to help build. What you'll doYour work might involve:Building features for interviews.thita.ai, working in the founding team.Designing AI-powered interview flows.Building adaptive interview systems that change based on a candidate's responses.Creating resume-aware interview experiences.Building interview experiences for DSA, System Design, and core CS subjects.Improving AI feedback and evaluation systems.Working with LLMs, structured outputs, agents, retrieval, and evaluation pipelines.Building learning paths and systems that connect learning → practice → interview → feedback → improvement.Investigating real user problems and shipping solutions quickly.Working across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and AI systems.Talking to users and understanding where the current product experience breaks down.Taking vague problems and turning them into working products. This is a highly product-oriented engineering role. You won't just receive a specification and implement it.Sometimes the entire specification will be:"Users aren't improving after taking multiple interviews. Figure out why."Your job will be to investigate the problem, understand the user behavior, identify possible solutions, and help ship one. What we're looking forYou do not need to know everything. We're looking for someone who has strong fundamentals and learns quickly.Ideally, you:Have strong fundamentals in Data Structures and Algorithms.Understand core CS subjects such as Operating Systems, DBMS, Computer Networks, and OOP.Have some familiarity with System Design. Can write clean, reliable software. Are comfortable working with JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar technologies.Have experimented with LLMs, AI APIs, agents, or AI applications. Can work independently when requirements are ambiguous.Enjoy figuring things out.Care about the user experience, not just the implementation. Are comfortable moving between engineering, AI, debugging, and product work. You don't need prior experience with every technology we use.We care more about:How fast you learn. How deeply you think. And whether you can turn an unclear problem into something useful.
