This one puts you on scaffolding. You'll see the live impact of your work, as robots lay bricks based on your algorithms and build homes you helped create. You’ll solve engineering problems that don’t exist in any other job. The skill stack you’ll build — vision, embedded constraints, live-site debugging and operator workflow — is unique. You won’t be stuck behind a screen. You’ll be out on construction sites, sometimes in the early morning, wearing hard hats and boots. It’s a hands-on chance to shape the future of construction robotics, tackling real-world challenges and seeing the results of your work in the built environment.Europe faces a housing crisis. Your work directly addresses this by improving how homes are built. You’ll join a small, ambitious team where your contributions carry weight and help define how robotics can solve critical problems in construction. What you’ll doRobotics don’t talk, so you’ll be the face and ambassador on site. You’ll deploy robots, identify issues and solve them end-to-end. This includes writing code fixes, testing them on-site and iterating rapidly—often within days or hours. You’ll also work on new features that push boundaries. Whether it’s improving robot speed, enabling tighter navigation or creating something entirely new, you’ll be at the cutting edge of what’s possible.Debugging is a big part of the job. You’ll learn to trace issues through software, sensors and mechanical parts. You’ll also take notes on broader challenges and opportunities, acting partly like a product manager to shape future improvements. What you’ll needYou can write and deploy code, whether self-taught, bootcamp-trained, or degree-educated. Tackling complex engineering problems with code is your strength. You’re great at debugging and tracing problems. You'll logically work through different failure modes across both hardware and software. You enjoy getting hands-on and don’t want to spend all day behind a screen. Early starts and site visits suit you.Comfort with basic maths like linear algebra and geometric reasoning will give you an edge.About the companyA robotics scale-up automating on-site construction with robotics and software. Their mission: make construction primarily software-defined, working towards a future where beautiful, bespoke buildings are built within a single day with minimal labour.A 100-person team, mostly engineers and technicians, with backgrounds spanning deep tech, robotics, and advanced hardware companies. In 2025 they delivered dozens of residential builds and completed significant infrastructure work, with their robot fleet scaling several times over and continuing to grow through the rest of the year. Please click the ‘Apply’ button.
