Founder’s Associate — 3-Month Internship / Graduate ContractAbout CourtIQCourtIQ is building the AI layer for amateur sports, starting with futsal.We use computer vision and AI to turn match footage into highlights, stats and performance insights for everyday players.We’re building across Malaysia and Singapore and are looking for a Founder’s Associate to work directly with the founder across fundraising, content, company operations and special projects.The RoleThis is a full-time, generalist early-stage startup role.Your priorities will shift week to week depending on what the company needs. You won’t be expected to own all of these areas at once. Some weeks might be heavily fundraising-focused; others might involve content, a pilot or company ops.The important thing is being able to juggle different tasks, stay organised and get things done.This also isn’t a strategy internship where you spend three months making slides about what we should do.You’ll be helping actually do it.What You Might Work OnContent & MarketingHelping with founder and company LinkedIn contentSupporting short-form videos and behind-the-scenes contentTurning company updates, pilots and lessons into postsCreating simple graphics, carousels and marketing materialsBeing handy with Canva, Figma, CapCut or basic video editing is a big plus.FundraisingResearching investors and building target listsHelping with outreach and follow-upsKeeping the fundraising pipeline organisedSupporting applications, decks and investor materialsMaking sure conversations and opportunities don’t fall through the cracksThe founders will still lead investor relationships and pitch meetings.Founder & Company OpsHelping keep documents, deadlines and follow-ups organisedCoordinating with accountants, lawyers and other external partiesSupporting grants, reporting, hiring coordination and company adminHelping with the boring but important things that keep a startup runningYou don’t need to know how all of this works from the get-go. For recent grads, it would be a 3-month contract role.The most important thing: you’re genuinely interested in startups, entrepreneurship and how early-stage companies get built.You should be:Very organised and reliableGood at juggling multiple tasks without dropping thingsA strong written communicatorResourceful and good at finding answersComfortable figuring things out independentlyProactive and willing to ask when something is blockedComfortable with changing prioritiesHappy doing tedious work when it needs to get doneComfortable using AI tools heavilyCurious, sharp and willing to get your hands dirtyInterested in sports — useful and very welcome, but not requiredYou don’t need startup experience or a particular degree. We care much more about whether you’re dependable, resourceful, curious and someone we can trust to get things done.What You’ll GetYou’ll work closely with the founder and get a front-row seat to how an early-stage startup is actually built.You’ll get exposure to fundraising, product, operations, partnerships, hiring, marketing and company-building.You’ll see both the exciting stuff and the messy parts nobody really posts about.If you think you might want to build something of your own one day, this should be a pretty useful three months.Strong performers may have the opportunity to continue with CourtIQ afterwards.Working ArrangementCommitment: Full-timeLocation: TTDI, Kuala LumpurWorking arrangement: Flexible hybrid.
