About The Opportunity Dodo Payments is a global Merchant of Record platform for SaaS, AI, and digital businesses, handling payments, local taxes, compliance, fraud prevention, and invoicing so founders can sell anywhere without operational overhead. The company serves 25,000+ businesses across 220+ countries and territories, supports 30+ local payment methods including Apple Pay, Klarna, Affirm, CashApp, and UPI, and is backed by Antler, 9Unicorns, and leading angels with $1.5M raised in seed funding. The goal is to power 50,000+ businesses over the next two years. The team is small and high-ownership, where every hire shapes the product and the company.Role & Responsibilities Take CEO priorities and convert them into clear execution plans with owners, milestones, deadlines, and success metrics. Run the cadence: conduct weekly reviews with function heads, maintain a tracker of every CEO initiative, and flag early when something slips. Drive cross-functional projects end to end, especially those that sit between teams and have no natural owner. Close the loop: confirm each initiative is complete, measure results against original goals, and report back to the CEO. Map how key workflows run today, especially across compliance, finance, and risk, and identify bottlenecks. Redesign and document processes as simple SOPs, checklists, and RACI charts that teams actually follow. Track before-and-after metrics such as turnaround time, error rate, and hours saved. Own meeting hygiene: agendas, decision logs, and action items, followed up until closed. Handle special projects as they come: new market or payment-method launch, pricing change, partner rollout, audit or licence readiness, fundraise data room.Skills & QualificationsMust-Have 3–5 years in operations, program/project management, business excellence, consulting, or a Founder's Office / Chief of Staff team, ideally at a startup or fast-growing company. Track record of taking messy, cross-functional projects from idea to done; bring two or three concrete examples with results. Hands-on process improvement experience: mapped a workflow, cut steps out of it, and made the change stick. Clear writer and communicator; able to turn a 40-minute CEO brain-dump into a one-page plan. Able to influence without authority, including holding senior people accountable politely and firmly. High ownership, discretion with confidential information, and comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities. Comfortable working alongside compliance, legal, and finance teams in a regulated business. Graduate in any discipline; an MBA is a plus, not a requirement.Preferred Exposure to Lean or Six Sigma (Green Belt or above). Prior work directly with a founder or CXO. Familiarity with basic P&L, unit economics and MIS reporting, or exposure to payments, fintech or SaaS.Benefits & Culture Highlights Direct, daily exposure to the CEO and how the company is run. Visibility across every function, making this a strong launchpad into leadership roles in ops, strategy or a business unit. Real ownership from week one, with room to shape how the company works. Health and accidental insurance cover.Skills: finance, ownership, founder's office, strategy
