Founders Office - Accounts and Finance

South Delhi · On-site · Full-time · 3–5 yearsThe roleYou sit in the founder's office and hold two things at once. The first is our legacy trading business — books, entries, stock-in-trade inventory, and the discipline of keeping a small operation clean and current. The second is a bootstrapped product company being built for scale, where invoicing, statements, and transactional history are being designed into software rather than maintained by hand.You are the bridge between those two. You know what an entry has to look like in Tally, and you sit with the team while they build the systems that will eventually produce those entries themselves.What you will doMaintain day-to-day accounting entries, ledgers, and reconciliations for the legacy business in Tally ERPTrack stock-in-trade inventory, purchase and sales records, and vendor and customer balancesPrepare invoices, statements of account, and transactional summariesWork with the product team to define how invoicing, statements, and transaction history should behave in our platform — what fields matter, what breaks reconciliation, what an accountant actually needsHelp map data between the platform and accounting systems including Tally and Zoho BooksPut together clear internal presentations and summaries for the founderWhat we are looking for3–5 years of hands-on accounting entry experience, not supervisory-only experienceThorough working knowledge of Tally ERP; familiarity with Zoho Books is an advantageClear written and spoken communication, and the patience to explain accounting logic to people who build softwareComfort with spreadsheets and basic presentation workMaturity and stability — this is a small, homely office, and the role rewards someone who wants to stay and own itWillingness to work on-site in South DelhiWhat this role is notIt is not a coding role. You will not be asked to write software.
