Founding AI & Software Engineer

Puntopa is an early-stage startup building a cutting-edge AI platform that redefines hardware development.We're looking for an AI & software expert to join our founding team. You'll help define the product, build the core technology from scratch, and make the key technical decisions that shape the company.What you'll do

• Develop the AI technology at the heart of our product, from research and prototyping all the way to production.
• Build our SaaS platform end to end: architecture, backend, data, and infrastructure.
• Work closely with the founders on product direction, and with early customers to understand what they really need.
• Set the technical foundations and culture as the team grows.What we're looking for
• Strong hands-on experience building and shipping AI/ML systems (LLMs, deep learning, or similar).
• Solid software engineering skills and experience building SaaS or cloud-based platforms.
• Proficient with Claude Code, using it to 10x your development output.
• Previous experience as a software manager, with the ability to build and lead a strong engineering team as we grow.
• Ability to own things end to end, from architecture to deployment.
• Entrepreneurial mindset: you move fast, you're pragmatic, and you're comfortable with uncertainty.
• Advantage: embedded background, or experience with hardware, electronics, or the hardware industry.
