Homeie is building the friend everyone wishes they had while renting.Finding a home in India is weirdly chaotic. You call five brokers, see ten bad homes, get spammed, negotiate in the dark, worry about the landlord, chase paperwork, move in tired, and then start from zero again in a neighbourhood you barely understand. We think this should feel completely different.Homeie starts with being your annoyingly smart friend that knows everything about homes, powered by AI agents. A tenant chats with Homeie and shares everything that they want in a home. Homeie understands the person, their tradeoffs, how they make decisions, and coordinates with the entire market on their behalf to help close a home in one afternoon instead of three weeks. The first product is a magical renting experience backed by data that we need to create from day 0. The larger company is the membership layer around living in a particular neighbourhood. In simple terms: We want to make renting feel more fun, more aspirational, way less miserable, and create culture around renting. What will you do:Build the agent orchestration layer that eventually lets Homeie take a renter from “I need a home” to a signed lease, with increasingly little human work.Make Homeie voice-first. Understand natural conversations, remember context, ask the right questions, coordinate tasks and keep the user updated throughout the search.Build agents that can work across messy real-world data: WhatsApps, calls, voice notes, listings, photos, videos, broker conversations and our own transaction history.Work on memory, tool use, planning and multi-agent workflows so Homeie can research, source, compare, follow up, negotiate and coordinate on the renter’s behalf.Build the evals and feedback loops that make the system meaningfully better with every renter, broker interaction, visit and transaction.Keep Homeie at the edge of what is possible with new models, voice, computer use and agentic systems; we want to keep moving work from humans to software as fast as the technology allows.Who we’re looking for:I don’t care too much about pedigree. You could have spent the last two years at a great AI company, be a cracked 21-year-old who builds things for fun, have tried starting something yourself, or come from somewhere completely different.I care if you’re very smart, hungry, learn quickly, have good taste, and have a history of actually building things. You should be unusually curious about what is becoming possible with AI. If a new model, voice stack or agent framework comes out, your instinct should be to try it rather than read ten threads about it.You should also be comfortable without a clean spec. A lot of what we’re building does not have an obvious architecture yet. We’ll sit with renters and brokers, see where things break, and figure out what software can take over next.If that sounds exhausting rather than fun, this probably isn't the right place.About me:I was previously LAT Aerospace’s first hire, working with Deepinder Goyal after his 'pay me 20 lakhs' hiring post went viral. I joined before LAT had a clear operating shape, helped set the early vision with Deepinder, hired the core team, worked across product, suppliers, testing, hiring, real estate, and ops, and led the team to get our first UAV flying within a year. Before that, when I was 14, my dad passed away and I took over his textile import-export business while still in school. I ran it profitably for three years, and we shut it down right before Covid. The common thread is that I’ve repeatedly walked into industries I didn’t “belong” in, learned from the ground up, and figured things out by doing the work. I’m not a real estate insider, but I’ve learned enough to know that renting is broken at the operating layer, not the listing layer. Homeie is the same kind of problem I’ve always been drawn to: messy, offline, unstructured, and waiting for someone stubborn enough to make it legible.
