the coffee operation from zero.You will work closely with the venture leadership team during the development and launch of the first location.Coffee & Beverage DevelopmentHelp create and continuously improve our beverage menu.You will work on:• Espresso recipes• V60 and manual brewing• Hot and iced coffee• Signature beverages• Seasonal drinks• Milk-based beverages• Non-coffee beverages• Coffee presentationWe want a menu that is commercially strong while maintaining excellent specialty-coffee standards.Quality ControlTake ownership of beverage consistency.Every customer should receive the same high-quality experience regardless of the day or shift.You will help establish standards for:• Espresso calibration• Grinding• Extraction• Milk steaming• Latte art• Brewing ratios• Beverage presentation• Equipment cleaning• Coffee storage• Daily quality checksCafé & Pastry ExperienceCoffee and pastries must work together as one customer experience.You will collaborate with the pastry and operations teams to develop combinations, recommendations, and menu ideas that increase customer satisfaction and average order value.We want customers to remember the experience, not simply the coffee.Customer ExperienceYou will be one of the faces of the brand.We are looking for someone who understands hospitality and enjoys interacting with customers.You should be able to:• Welcome customers professionally• Understand their preferences• Recommend drinks and pastries• Explain coffee origins and preparation• Handle feedback positively• Build relationships with regular customersExcellent hospitality is as important as excellent coffee.Build the Barista PlaybookBecause you are joining at the beginning, you will help document how our coffee operation works.This may include:• Opening procedures• Closing procedures• Beverage recipes• Quality-control standards• Cleaning schedules• Inventory procedures• Equipment maintenance• Customer-service standards• Barista training materialsThe objective is to build systems that can eventually be replicated across future locations.Train Future BaristasAs the venture grows, the Founding Barista may have the opportunity to take increasing responsibility for:• Training new baristas• Maintaining quality standards• Supporting new-store openings• Developing new beverages• Supervising coffee operations• Building the future coffee teamFor the right person, this position can develop beyond being a barista into a broader Coffee Operations / Head Barista leadership role as the venture expands.Who We Are Looking ForWe
