Signal Rock will lead capital formation, acquisitions, and finance. You will own the customers, crews, systems, costs and P&L.This is a builder’s job, not a finished CEO seat.What You Will DoHelp evaluate and acquire the initial platformLead the transition from a founder-led businessRetain critical customer, technician, and regulatory knowledgeRecruit, develop, and hold accountable field and branch leadersImprove pricing, scheduling, routing, labor efficiency, and cash conversionBuild local density through organic sales and disciplined acquisitionsIntegrate add-on acquisitions without losing their best employees or customersCreate a repeatable operating model without smothering the business in bureaucracyYou May Be the Right Person IfCame up through sales or field operationsHave owned a branch, region, or multi-site field-service P&LCan sell to a property manager and lead a master plumberKnow route density beats dots on a mapCan price a job, route a crew, control overtime, and manage partsCheck callbacks, labor efficiency, and revenue per technicianKnow which great technicians can become managers and which should remain great techniciansHave integrated a founder-led acquisition and kept the people who matteredSpend company money as carefully as your ownWould rather own part of what you build than collect another title or salary bumpExperience in plumbing, fire and life safety, water compliance, HVAC, pest control, elevator service or another route-based technical trade is strongly preferred.Technical CredibilityNo specific trade license is required to apply. Backflow, plumbing, fire-sprinkler, and cross-connection credentials are valuable.At minimum, you must have experience leading licensed field personnel and understand the discipline required to maintain:Utility-approved tester certifications and local registrationsA Florida Certified Plumbing Contractor qualifierAppropriate fire-protection contractor coverageCalibrated testing equipmentPermits, insurance and compliant service recordsBackflow experience is helpful. Field credibility is mandatory.This is probably not for you if:You need a large staff or a polished playbookYou have acquired businesses but never integrated oneYou prefer dashboards to customers and techniciansYou need someone else to make the hard callsYou want the title more than the responsibilityThe work will be demanding, local and often unglamorous.
