Founding CEO OpportunityAI-Powered Long-Endurance Hydrogen UAV CompanyWe are looking for an entrepreneurial leader to establish and lead a new company developing AI-powered, long-endurance hydrogen fuel-cell unmanned aircraft.This is not a conventional executive recruitment process. It is an opportunity for the selected leader to become the Founding CEO, shape the company from its inception, build the founding team and take full responsibility for its strategy, financing, product development and global growth.The VisionThe company will develop a new generation of intelligent fixed-wing unmanned aircraft capable of flying for 12–24 hours while carrying advanced surveillance, communications and sensing equipment.The aircraft will combine:• Long-endurance hydrogen fuel-cell propulsion• High-power capability for takeoff and climb• Advanced EO/IR, SAR, radar and communications payloads• Onboard AI for real-time detection and analysis• Autonomous mission planning and flight operations• Low noise, low vibration and low thermal signatureRather than continuously transmitting all sensor data to a ground station, the aircraft will use onboard edge AI to identify objects, vehicles, vessels, fires, infrastructure anomalies and other mission-relevant events in real time.The platform may be applied to:• Defense and intelligence missions• Maritime and border surveillance• Wildfire detection and disaster response• Pipeline, power-grid and infrastructure inspection• Communications relay• Environmental and territorial monitoring• Extended autonomous operations in remote areasTechnology FoundationThe venture will have access to an advanced hydrogen fuel-cell power architecture developed by a team with nearly 30 years of fuel-cell experience across automotive, defense and aviation applications.A strategic fuel-cell technology company is expected to participate as an investor and power-system supplier. The new company will focus on the complete aircraft platform, onboard AI, autonomous mission systems, customer development and commercial operations.The Founding CEO will have the authority to establish and operate the new company, recruit the management and engineering teams, select development partners and define the path to market.The RoleThe Founding CEO will be responsible for:• Establishing the company and defining its business strategy• Building the founding management and engineering teams• Recruiting an experienced UAV or aerospace CTO• Securing seed investment, strategic investment and government funding• Identifying initial defense, public-sector and commercial customers• Leading partnerships with UAV manufacturers, AI companies, universities and defense organizations• Defining the initial product and minimum viable flight demonstrator• Managing prototype development and flight-testing programs• Establishing operations in Korea and preparing entry into the U.S. market• Developing the company’s intellectual-property, supply-chain and manufacturing strategies• Leading the company through fundraising, demonstration, commercialization and growthWho We Are Looking ForWe are not limiting the search to aerospace engineers. We are looking for a company builder capable of assembling the technical expertise required to turn a differentiated technology into a globally competitive aerospace business.Relevant backgrounds may include:• Founder or executive of a technology, aerospace, defense, robotics or AI company• Business development leadership in UAV, aviation, defense or autonomous systems• Venture creation, fundraising and early-stage company building• Defense acquisition, government programs or military aviation• Commercialization of deep-tech hardware• Development of strategic partnerships in Korea, the United States or international markets• Leadership of multidisciplinary teams involving hardware, software and AIThe ideal candidate will possess:• Strong entrepreneurial ownership• The ability to attract outstanding technical talent• Credibility with investors, customers and strategic partners• A practical understanding of how complex hardware products reach the market• The judgment to balance ambitious technology with achievable development milestones• A genuine desire to build and operate the company over the long termA technical degree is helpful but not essential. Leadership, execution, fundraising ability and commitment are more important than being the aircraft’s chief engineer.Founding StructureThe selected candidate will join as the Founding CEO with meaningful founder-level equity and broad authority to operate the company.The originator of the business concept and the participating fuel-cell technology partner will support the new venture through equity participation, fuel-cell power-system supply, technical cooperation and relevant industry networks. They do not intend to manage the company’s day-to-day operations.The detailed ownership structure, investment, governance and technology-supply arrangements will be discussed transparently with the selected founding leader.LocationThe company may begin development in Korea while targeting the United States and international aerospace and defense markets from the outset.Candidates based in Korea or the United States are welcome.
