Founding Clubhouse Operator

Build Surfbase Clubhouse at Cityland Mall into a profitable, stylish surf destination: specialty coffee, a surf and lifestyle store, e-commerce and delivery, community events, and membership pre-sales. The main wave, training pools and thermal area are not open yet, so the Welcome Zone must attract an audience and generate revenue on its own.This is a founding operator role for someone energetic, commercially minded and hands-on. You will have freedom to shape the space and the business, with direct founder access and meaningful upside from the profit you create.WHAT YOU WILL OWN

• The full site P&L: revenue, contribution profit, costs, cash control, stock and weekly reporting
• Daily café and retail operations, service standards and team scheduling
• Coffee concept and menu: suppliers, recipes, cost cards, pricing, quality and waste
• Surf and lifestyle assortment: sourcing, wholesale, consignment, dropship, own merchandise and visual merchandising
• Shopify and e-commerce: product pages, pricing, stock, fulfilment, delivery, conversion, AOV and repeat sales
• CRM, email, WhatsApp, Meta and Google campaigns with measurable economics
• Four commercially meaningful community events per month, including one flagship event, with a budget and post-event results
• Mall coordination, operational accounts and connections, reporting deadlines, licences and compliance checklists, working with our lawyer and accountant
• The atmosphere of the space: surf vibe, styling, lighting, sound, small details and Instagram-worthy customer moments
• Partnerships with coffee, surf, fashion, fitness, outdoor and Dubai lifestyle brandsWHAT WE NEED
• You have personally operated or built a café, store, hospitality, lifestyle, e-commerce or community business
• You can explain real numbers you owned: revenue, gross margin, contribution profit, stock turn, AOV, conversion, CAC or waste
• You are obsessed with good coffee and understand what makes customers return
• You have strong taste and can make a space and product range feel coherent, warm and unmistakably Surfbase
• You understand or actively participate in surf, board-sports, beach or outdoor culture
• You work with your own hands and do not need a large team to start
• You are comfortable selling, negotiating with suppliers and solving operational problems
• Fluent working English; ready to work on site and when the business needs it, including weekends
• Currently in the UAE and able to start quicklyAI & AUTOMATIONYou will use AI as a daily operating tool for supplier and competitor research, sales and stock analysis, SOPs, reporting, CRM, content and simple automations. You must verify financial, legal, licensing and food-compliance information against primary sources and with the company lawyer or accountant. You remain responsible for every final decision and never treat unverified AI output as fact.COMPENSATION
• AED 5,000–6,000 monthly fixed, depending on experience
• Uncapped monthly profit share: 5% of contribution profit, plus an additional 10% of the portion above AED 100,000
• Contribution profit is measured after cost of goods, delivery and payment fees, packaging, waste, direct venue payroll and direct event costs; rent and central overhead are excluded
• Employment visa and medical insurance
• Duty coffee, employee discount and annual leave under UAE law
• Six-month probation under UAE lawFIRST 90 DAYS
• 30 days: operational audit completed; mall and compliance calendar restored; P&L dashboard live; supplier terms agreed; 40–60 opening SKUs selected; 12–15 item coffee menu with cost cards; first events and membership funnel planned
• 60 days: café/store and online channels trading; delivery live; CRM operating; first partner events completed; actual sales and demand data driving decisions
• 90 days: credible run-rate toward AED 100,000 monthly contribution profit; margins and stock under control; bestsellers identified; weak products stopped; scaling plan agreedHOW TO APPLYApply with your CV and answer these questions:1.
