About the jobThis role is being recruited by CoffeeSpace on behalf of an anonymous company building AI-native systems for the offline economy, specifically targeting consumer packaged goods (CPG) like Pepsico, General Mills, and Unilever.We’re identifying a small number of exceptional founding engineers from our network. The company is backed by premier Silicon Valley investors and aims to leverage AI to reinvent the $4.5 trillion CPG offline economy.About the roleAs a Founding Engineer, you will be one of the first team members, playing a crucial role in shaping both the product and the company culture. You will work across the stack, from backend data infrastructure to customer-facing products, and will directly engage with customers to understand their business objectives.What You’ll DoBuild and deploy harness evaluation platforms to create fast feedback loops around product outcomesDevelop foundational data infrastructure — both single and multi-tenant hosting models — at terabyte scaleOwn end-to-end delivery of production agents for marquee customersDesign a reinforcing context layer that captures how companies operate internallyDefine the culture and operating bar for every company investment (across product and the team)The Ideal Candidate3+ years of experience in a generalist engineering roleComfortable working across the stack and in fast-moving, ambiguous environmentsExperience with Python, TypeScript, Next.js, GCP, and TerraformStrong communicator who can work directly with customersNext steps1.
