Founding EngineerWe're building the most user-friendly, intelligent and AI-native wealth management platform in the Netherlands, where every number traces back to its source. As a founding engineer, you'll work directly with our CTO, Paddy Natte, and shape the core product from the ground up.What you'll work onDocument extraction and classification at scale: turning messy PDFs, spreadsheets and reports into structured, traceable dataA knowledge graph across complex ownership structures (holdings, entities, participations, funds)A full agent harness: orchestration, routing, and validationA human-in-the-loop feedback engine that generates labeled training data for models we train on proprietary financial datasetsShipping new functionality based on direct customer feedback, fastWhat we're looking forA cracked builder: someone who moves fast, is intrinsically motivated to deliver their best work, and doesn't think in 9-to-5 terms. No corporate bs. Just building.Strong fundamentals in machine learning and/or software engineering, and the taste to know what "good" looks likeThe ability to take ownership of a problem end-to-end, without waiting to be told howThe most ambitious people are willing to work 50-70-hour workweeks to simply get things done.Nice to haveExperience in finance, wealth management, accounting or financial softwareExperience training or fine-tuning your own modelsThings you've actually built and can show usFresh out of university is fine. Raw ability, ownership and taste matter more than years of experience or a specific background.What we offerReal ownership and equity.Salary range between €3200 and €5000, strongly dependent on skills, experience, and equity mix.Direct collaboration with our CTO and full access to the best tools to do the workOur first customers are also our first investors.
