Team members join a high-impact environment where their work directly contributes to advancing patient care and the future of clinical developmentRole DescriptionAs a Founding Engineer at Altrovia, you will own the design and core product features that shape how clinical trials are planned and managed. On a day-to-day basis, you will architect systems, write clean and scalable code, collaborate with product and design partners, and participate in technical decision-making across the stack. You will be involved in setting engineering standards, improving development workflows, and ensuring product reliability and performance. You will be part of the founding team to iterate quickly, validate ideas with users, lay the technical foundation for future growth and communicate with our customersQualificationsStrong experience in software engineering, including designing, implementing, and maintaining production-grade systemsBuild and improve AI features using LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows.Own AI systems from prototype to productionWork with structured and unstructured data to improve model quality and reliabilityComfort with cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, containerization, monitoring, and version control)Ability to work in a fast-paced early-stage environment, take ownership of projects, and make pragmatic technical decisionsShape the product, technical architecture, and engineering culture as an early team memberStrong communication and collaboration skills, including working closely with non-technical stakeholders and cross-functional teamsBackground or interest in healthcare, life sciences, or clinical research is a plusBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; startup or founding-team experience is highly beneficial
