We transform fragmented, complex workflows into seamless, end-to-end digital experiences. Operating as a regional engineering and innovation hub, DTS bridges modern software architecture with clinical reality to solve real-world operational challenges, with a primary focus on digitally enabled healthcare and clinical decision support.--------------------------------------------------ROLE OVERVIEW--------------------------------------------------We are seeking a board-certified Specialist or Consultant in Emergency Medicine, Acute Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine to join DTS as our Founding Medical Advisor / Clinical Lead.In this pivotal advisory capacity, you will hold clinical authority over our Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) triage engine. You will partner directly with engineering leadership to validate version-controlled clinical rules, oversee our structured symptom ontology, and ensure our deterministic risk-stratification algorithms strictly adhere to established international standards (such as ESI, MTS, NICE) and regional healthcare realities across Egypt, the UAE, KSA, and the wider GCC.--------------------------------------------------KEY RESPONSIBILITIES--------------------------------------------------• Clinical Decision Logic & Pathway Validation: Review, refine, and clinically sign off on structured triage decision pathways and red-flag rules (e.g., acute febrile presentations, dyspnea, chest discomfort, altered consciousness, and pediatric escalations).• Symptom Ontology Oversight: Audit our schema-validated symptom ontology, ensuring that question branching, severity definitions, and clinical thresholds accurately reflect acute care standards.• SaMD Regulatory & Clinical Safety (ISO 14971 / IMDRF): Serve as Lead Clinical Voice for our Clinical Evaluation Report (CER). Participate in algorithmic risk reviews, failure modes analysis (FMEA), and hazard evaluations to prevent false reassurances or missed emergency signs.• Regional Healthcare & Escalation Mapping: Advise on local disposition tiers—guiding patients appropriately between self-care, primary care centers (PHCs), urgent care facilities, and emergency departments (e.g., UAE 999, KSA 997, Egypt 123).• Governance & Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Bridge clinical medicine and software engineering by providing pragmatic, structured feedback on clinical data models and representing clinical safety on our Advisory Board.--------------------------------------------------REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & CREDENTIALS--------------------------------------------------• Medical Credentials: Recognized medical degree (MD, MBBCh, or equivalent) with formal Master's, Board Certification, or Fellowship in Emergency Medicine, Acute Medicine, or Internal/Family Medicine. Active registration with a recognized licensing authority (e.g., Egyptian Medical Syndicate, UAE DHA/DoH/MoHAP, Saudi SCFHS, or equivalent).• Acute Clinical Experience: 5+ years of direct patient care and triage decision-making in hospital emergency departments, urgent care units, or acute clinical services. Strong working familiarity with validated triage frameworks (ESI, Manchester Triage System, or CTAS).• Clinical Governance & Evidence Appraisal: Proven background in evidence-based guideline implementation (e.g., NICE, CDC, WHO), hospital protocol development, or clinical audit/quality committees.• Digital Health Affinity: Enthusiasm for clinical decision support systems (CDSS), medical informatics, and patient-centric digital tools. Comfort reviewing structured clinical logic (e.g., protocol spreadsheets, decision flowcharts, or rule matrices).• Cross-Functional Communication: Exceptional ability to articulate complex clinical trade-offs and edge-case risks clearly to software architects and non-clinical product teams.--------------------------------------------------ENGAGEMENT & COMPENSATION--------------------------------------------------• Structure: Highly flexible, asynchronous part-time advisory engagement (~3 to 5 hours per month), including a monthly clinical strategy review.• Compensation: Founding advisory equity stake structured via the international Founder Advisor Standard Template (FAST).• Recognition: Formal seat on the DTS Clinical Advisory Board, leadership attribution across company publications and regulatory submissions, and co-authorship on clinical validation whitepapers.--------------------------------------------------TO APPLY--------------------------------------------------Please submit your CV and a brief summary of your clinical specialty and acute triage experience to hr@digitaltopology.com
