We don't compete with BI tools. We compete with management consulting firms, and we win on speed, price, and proof. We crossed $1M ARR within six months of founding. We're a small team by design: every hire changes what the company is capable of. This is one of those hires. The RoleWe're looking for a founding member of the Grow team. We've tried to fill this role close to three times now. Each time, we learned more about what it actually is by watching someone do it — or fail to. So we'll say this plainly, up front: there is no finished playbook for this job. We will figure it out together, in real time, against real numbers. If you're looking for a role with a fixed job description, a fixed set of deliverables, and a manager who already knows the answer — this isn't it.What we do know, with total clarity, is the objective.Growth's job is two things:Get us in front of as many qualified potential clients as possible.Do it through the highest-ROI channels available and keep finding new ones. That's it. That's the whole mandate. Everything else — the channel, the tactic, the campaign, the event, the sequence — is just a hypothesis in service of that objective, to be tested and either scaled or killed based on the number it produces. To make this concrete: a conference currently returns us something like 10–12x ROI. That's why we go to conferences. If you can find or build channels that return within that range — or better — you are exactly the person we're looking for. If you can't yet but you know how to find out fast and effectively, you're still exactly the person we're looking for. What This Role Is NotGrowth is not sales. You are not closing deals or owning a quota-carrying pipeline. Your job is to understand the market well enough, through outbound information gathering, outbound execution, and outbound strategy, that you can convert cold, unaware prospects into inbound interest in the platform and the technology. You are building the demand. What You'll Actually DoStudy our market (Energy, Oil & Gas, Mining, Manufacturing, Financial Services, traditional, technologically conservative, C-suite buyers) until you understand it as well as we do.Design, run, and measure outbound experiments across channels, content, events, partnerships, communities, cold outreach, whatever the market tells you works, with an ROI number attached to each one.Kill what doesn't work fast. Double down on what does, faster.Turn outbound execution into inbound pull: the goal is prospects showing up already convinced there's something worth looking at, not prospects who were pitched into submission.Report on growth the way we report on everything here — in inputs and outputs both, but ultimately judged on ROI per channel, not activity volume.Build the muscle and the system as you go. Whatever you figure out becomes the next version of the growth playbook, for you, and for whomever we hire after you.Who You AreYou think like an owner, not an employee. This is a founding role; you'll be evaluated the way we evaluate ourselves: by results, not effort. You're comfortable with ambiguity that never fully resolves. We will not hand you a campaign calendar. We will hand you a number to beat. You have a genuine feel for markets and buyers — not just channels and tactics. You can tell the difference between "this worked once" and "this is a real lever."You're numerate. You think in ROI, CAC, conversion rates, and payback periods by default, without being asked. You've either built a growth function from zero before, or you've been the person inside a small team who quietly became the growth engine without the title. You're allergic to busywork disguised as strategy. You'd rather run five small, honest tests than one big untested campaign.Bonus: experience selling into, marketing to, or working within traditional, non-tech-forward industries (energy, industrials, manufacturing, financial services).Who This Isn't ForIf you want a defined role, a defined process, and a defined ramp, wait for the next hire's job description, because it'll be more defined than this one. This role is for someone who wants to be the person who writes that job description, by proving what works first. To apply: Reach out directly with the highest-ROI thing you've ever grown what it was, what you did, and the number. Don't reach out with a useless Resume.
