Founding Partners will play a direct role in shaping the mission, culture, and long-term strategy of the organization.Role Description The Founding Partner role is a full-time, remote position responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and execution of CompanioNation’s early initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with other founders on business planning, market research, and product or service design, as well as defining the brand identity and go-to-market approach. The role involves building operational structures, setting up processes and tools, and contributing to financial planning, partnership development, and potential fundraising efforts. Founding Partners will engage with stakeholders, potential customers, and collaborators to validate ideas, gather feedback, and refine offerings. This role requires a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset, with the expectation of flexibly supporting multiple functions as the organization grows.Qualifications Entrepreneurial experience, including involvement in early-stage ventures, startups, or new business units.Strength in strategic thinking, business planning, and decision-making under uncertainty.Ability to conduct market and user research, analyze findings, and translate insights into actionable plans.Experience collaborating in remote, cross-functional teams and building a positive, inclusive culture.Comfort with wearing multiple hats across operations, marketing, product or service design, and partnerships.Strong communication skills, including clear writing, persuasive storytelling, and effective stakeholder engagement.Experience or interest in community-building, companion-focused services, or social impact initiatives is highly beneficial.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; prior leadership or co-founder experience is a plus.
