Founding Principal Engineer

Not in a demo. In the actual mess of a real day. That is a hard engineering problem before it is anything else, and it is the one you would own.Buddy, WYLE's agent, has to hold a person's full context as a living memory rather than a chat history. Plan several steps ahead and understand the consequences before it acts. Execute real actions in the real world without ever mishandling a credential. Run fast enough on a normal phone to feel instant. And earn enough trust that someone lets it act on their behalf.The architecture for this exists and is real. A graph-native memory that works like a personal world model. A neuro-symbolic layer that keeps the agent correct where correctness is not optional. A predictive planning layer that models consequences before acting. A security model where the agent acts but never holds the secret. It is designed. It needs a builder who can make it real.You would own one of two domains, end to end:Agent Systems. Multi-agent orchestration and the security architecture that lets an agent act in the real world safely. You have built autonomous agents that execute in production, and you treat credential isolation and prompt-injection defense as first-order problems, not afterthoughts.Intelligence Systems. The graph-native memory and the AI runtime. You have built knowledge-graph or graph-memory systems, and you are genuinely comfortable at the inference layer: on-device models, quantization, low latency on real hardware.Nobody is elite at all of this, and we are not looking for that. We want real depth in one of these domains, owned like a founder. If you are deep in one and strong in the other, tell us.How we work. Engineering is horizontal on purpose. You work directly with the founder, and everyone on the team is a senior owner of something real, with no layers between them and the decisions. This is for someone who has built inside a startup before, who knows what the speed, the ambiguity, and the uncertainty actually feel like, and who wants that again as an owner rather than an employee.If you are currently a Head of Engineering, Engineering Director, Head of AI, Principal or a Staff Engineer and what you actually miss is getting your hands back on the keyboard and owning something you build, this is for you. If what you want is another management seat, this is not.The honest part. This is a founding role and it is equity-led. You come in with meaningful ownership from the start, and we are direct about the full compensation structure early in the conversation, not after you have invested your time. If you want a salary-first role with a large team around you, this is not that, and that is completely fair.Dubai-based, or ready to relocate quickly.
