Its live, revenue-generating platform manages complex, multi-party workflows across the full lifecycle of private asset transactions for leading financial institutions.The MissionBuild the infrastructure that powers private asset transactions over their full 5–7-year lifecycle. The platform must support multiple parties, evolving permissions, recurring workflows, and new deal structures—while making AI a first-class participant alongside human users.The RoleThis is a senior design opportunity to build the product design function from the ground up. You’ll define what an AI-native financial platform should look and feel like—deciding which workflows require exceptional interfaces and which are becoming infrastructure that AI agents and other products can access directly. You’ll shape a cohesive experience across deterministic, human-led workflows and emerging AI-native interactions, ensuring they feel like one product rather than two systems bolted together.You will:Build and lead the product design function, including its team structure, processes, and craft standards.Establish a design-to-engineering approach for a system-first product model, where the underlying platform is designed before the interface.Define how deterministic and AI-native interactions coexist across the product.Make platform-level decisions about design systems, reusable patterns, permissions, and where structural variation should live.Partner closely and technically with Engineering on architecture, systems, and implementation.Collaborate with Product on commercial translation, prioritization, and sequencing.Represent design in leadership discussions and roadmap decisions.Help evolve how Design, Product, and Engineering work together.What They’re Looking ForHands-on experience designing and shipping AI-native interaction patterns—not just a perspective on them.Strong systems thinking and experience making platform- and design-system-level decisions.A track record of working closely with Engineering on technical architecture and design-to-engineering processes.An exceptional portfolio demonstrating visual craft, typography, interaction design, and strong product judgment.Excellent written, verbal, and storytelling skills.A clear point of view on how AI is changing the nature of software products and interfaces.
