Apply & track with Apply EdgeIt will understand intent, anticipate needs, and help people accomplish things that previously seemed impossible.We’re a small, ambitious engineering team building at the frontier of AI, intelligent agents, and human-computer interaction.Design is central to everything we’re creating.The opportunityWe’re looking for one exceptional Product Designer to take complete ownership of our UX and UI.This is not a role where you’ll join an existing design team.You will be the design team.You’ll work directly with the founder and engineers, shaping everything from product concepts and user journeys to visual design, interactions, prototypes, and the final shipped experience.We’re looking for someone who combines exceptional visual taste with deep product thinking and relentless execution.Someone who can take an ambitious, complicated idea and make it feel incredibly simple.What you’ll own* Entire product UX: User journeys, workflows, information architecture, navigation, and overall product usability.* Entire product UI: Visual language, layouts, typography, colors, components, and pixel-level polish.* Interaction design: Microinteractions, animations, transitions, feedback, and fluid user experiences.* Product exploration: Turn rough ideas into thoughtful product concepts, challenge assumptions, and propose better solutions.* Prototyping: Rapidly create interactive, high-fidelity prototypes to test and communicate ideas.* Design systems: Build and maintain a consistent, scalable design foundation.* Engineering collaboration: Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented beautifully and correctly.* Shipped quality: Personally review the product, identify problems, and continuously improve the experience.You’ll own the design process from the first idea to the final pixel.What we’re looking for* Minimum 4 years of professional product design experience.* An exceptional portfolio demonstrating outstanding UI craftsmanship and thoughtful UX decisions.* Strong expertise in Figma, advanced prototyping, and design systems.* Proven ability to independently design complex products from end to end.* Excellent understanding of interaction design, motion, and usability.* Ability to simplify sophisticated technical workflows.* Strong product intuition and independent decision-making.* Ability to work directly with founders and engineers without extensive supervision.* Fast execution, strong attention to detail, and uncompromising quality standards.* Genuine curiosity about AI, developer tools, and the future of computing.Experience designing desktop applications, developer tools, AI products, or sophisticated productivity software is a significant advantage.Ability to prototype with code is a strong plus.Who you areYou don’t just design screens.
