We help companies hire the people who make AI work: forward-deployed engineers, applied AI engineers, and the domain experts behind them. HF0-incubated and part of NVIDIA Inception, we work with 500+ companies, from Google, ByteDance, Luma AI, and GMI Cloud to early-stage startups. We believe AI should help people and organizations grow alongside it, not replace them. Why this isn't a normal recruiting jobRecruiting has run the same way for decades. A job description goes out, recruiters race to submit résumés against it, and most of the week goes to intake calls, keyword searches, and follow-up emails. We rebuilt the workflow around two agents, one for each side of the hire. The Hiring Manager Agent works for the company. It starts from the business problem, not the job description, and turns it into a hiring plan: which capability is needed, where that talent sits, who to go after. The Closer Agent works for you. It runs intake with the hiring manager, matches everyone in your network against every open role, tells you who fits what and why, and handles the follow-ups.The two agents work with each other. Calibration, shortlists, and scheduling move agent to agent. A person steps in where trust decides the outcome. So the work starts from the people you know, not from a req, and you aren't racing other recruiters to submit the same résumé. Your time goes to the two things no agent can do: knowing great people, and getting them to yes.The roleYou'll join the founding batch of our U.S. recruiting team and work this way from day one.Your job is talent. Find the best applied AI people in the U.S., earn their trust, and close them into roles at our clients. Our agents and customer success team carry most of the client side, so your hours go to candidates.Delivery stays at the heart of the job. As you grow, you'll also lead outside Talent Partners: independent recruiters, super-connectors, and domain insiders who know where the talent is.What you'll doSource and closeFind and engage the strongest FDE, applied AI, ML engineering, and post-training talent in the U.S., including people who aren't looking.Build relationships that outlast one search. Know what each person wants next, so when the right role opens, yours is the call they take.Take candidates from first conversation to signed offer: screen, prepare, manage the process, negotiate, close.Join client calibration when a search needs a recruiter's read on the market.Work with the agentsAct on what the Closer Agent surfaces, so you can run more searches at once than any recruiter working by hand.Tell us where the agents get it wrong. What you see on live searches goes straight to our product and engineering team.Grow into leading the networkBring in, calibrate, and coach Talent Partners, from experienced headhunters to super-connectors and domain insiders.Hold the quality bar, and step in to close when it counts. What you bringHires you closed yourself, and the appetite to keep closing. We look at placements, not years. Most people who fit have 1–5 years in headhunting, executive search, or agency recruiting. Early-career is welcome if you have closed technical hires on your own.Sourcing skill beyond a LinkedIn search. You know where strong engineers spend their time, and they answer when you reach out.Experience recruiting engineering or AI talent, and the ability to tell a strong applied AI engineer from a keyword-matched résumé.A way with people. Candidates trust your read on a role and still take your call a year later.A working knowledge of the whole recruiting workflow, including where it usually breaks.AI already in your daily work, and curiosity about what recruiting becomes when agents do half of it.A plusFluent in both English and Mandarin. Many of our clients, candidates, and Talent Partners work across the U.S. and Asia.HRBP or people-operations experience, or exposure to cross-border employment and EOR. Hiring is one of our lines; global employment is another.Experience coordinating other recruiters, freelancers, or sourcers. An existing network among AI engineers. What you get$85K–$120K base, depending on experience.25–40% commission on the placements you close, uncapped, plus a share of placements closed by the Talent Partners you lead.Meaningful equity in a fast-growing AI startup.Live roles at strong clients from day one, agents that take the busywork, and a path to leading talent delivery in the U.S.To applySend your résumé to katherine@joinbrix.com & alex@joinbrix.com with two or three hires you closed: the role, how you found the person, and what almost went wrong.
