We machine them here.We are looking for a machinist who wants real ownership of a floor built around automation from the ground up.WHAT YOU'LL DOLead equipment qualification, acceptance testing, and process validation on our 5-axis platformsProgram complex parts from CAD models and formal GD&T drawings using modern CAMDesign fixturing and workholding built for multi-pallet, probe-verified, high-uptime productionRun and optimize first-article and production jobs in aluminum, titanium, stainless, and aerospace-grade alloysOwn feeds, speeds, and tool-life strategy, and document the process knowledge the floor runs onBuild out our quality system to AS9100 and ISO 13485 readinessEvaluate and qualify tooling, workholding, and probing as operations scaleSet the standard on the floor and mentor the teamWHAT YOU BRING5+ years of CNC machining with hands-on 5-axis programming and setupStrong CAM (Mastercam, hyperMILL, Fusion 360, or similar) and fluency reading complex GD&TA bias for action — if you see a problem, you move to solve itThe ability to own a manufacturing project end to endExperience in regulated, high-precision, or tight-tolerance production environmentsU.S. person status as defined by ITAR (see below)NICE TO HAVEExperience on high-end 5-axis platforms — Matsuura, Makino, or similarMulti-pallet or lights-out cell experienceTitanium, Inconel, or exotic alloy experienceExposure to AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or DCMA-inspected environmentsCMM programming experience (Zeiss / CALYPSO)A genuine interest in automation and data-driven manufacturingMilitary service, or experience in a veteran-owned or mission-driven companyWHAT YOU GETReal authority over tooling, equipment, and process decisionsA direct path to shop foreman and operations leadership as we scaleTop-tier equipment and the mandate to run it the right wayCOMPENSATION & BENEFITSThe expected base salary range for this position is $140,000 – $185,000 per year. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, certifications, and demonstrated capability.
