FP&A Analyst

Job PurposeSupport the finance function in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and management reporting. The role will provide insights into business performance, identify variances and trends, and support management in making informed financial and strategic decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and financial plans.Analyze actual performance against budget and forecast, identifying key variances and their drivers.Prepare monthly management reports covering revenue, costs, profitability, cash flow, and key financial KPIs.Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making.Support project and business-unit profitability analysis.Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance.Work closely with operational and commercial teams to collect and validate financial information.Prepare financial analysis for new projects, investments, and strategic initiatives.Support month-end reporting and ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data.Develop dashboards and management presentations highlighting key financial trends and recommendations.Continuously improve financial reporting, forecasting processes, and analytical tools.Qualification and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.4-6 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, management reporting, or a similar role.Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is preferred.Good understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.Strong communication and presentation skills.Experience in construction, manufacturing, or project-based businesses is an advantage.Key CompetenciesFinancial and commercial acumenAnalytical and problem-solving skillsAttention to detailBusiness partneringData-driven decision makingPlanning and organizationStrong communication skills
