Every opportunity is a chance to grow.Position OverviewLSG is seeking a highly motivated Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Intern to join our Finance team for the Fall 2026 semester.This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience inside a growth-oriented, private equity-backed business. The intern will work directly with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, performance analysis, and strategic initiatives.This position is ideal for a student pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field who wants exposure to how financial decisions drive operational performance and enterprise value creation.What You Will Do• Support monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, and KPI reporting• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning processes• Analyze revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, and key operational and financial drivers• Build and maintain Excel-based financial analyses, models, and reporting tools• Assist in preparing dashboards and presentations for finance and executive leadership• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities• Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and other functions to understand business performance and key drivers• Support ad hoc financial modeling, business cases, and strategic initiatives• Gain exposure to Power BI, ERP systems, and other financial reporting tools• Participate in ECDP programming, professional development, and leadership engagement opportunitiesWhat We Are Looking For• Current undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.• Strong academic performance with demonstrated analytical capability.• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.• Intellectual curiosity and a desire to understand how businesses operate and create value.• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.• Experience with financial modeling, Power BI, Tableau, or ERP systems is a plus but not required.What You Will Gain• Direct exposure to FP&A processes within a private equity-backed organization.• Experience working with senior finance leaders and cross-functional business partners.• Practical application of financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning concepts.• Visibility into how finance supports growth, operational performance, and decision-making.• Professional development through LSG's Early Career Development Program.• Meaningful work with measurable impact on the business.Why LSG?At LSG, interns are treated as contributors, not observers.
