Company DescriptionGoMyRobot is a Tunisian deep-tech startup building a vertically integrated robotics stack for space applications, from robotic manipulator arms to the real-time middleware and radiation-tolerant hardware that get them ready for orbit. We're a small team working across mechanical, embedded, and software layers to engineer robots for actual spaceflight and orbital operations, not demos. Joining means contributing to infrastructure that has to survive radiation, thermal extremes, and the reliability bar of real space hardware.Role DescriptionThis is a hybrid FPGA Engineering Intern role based in Toulouse, focused on digital design and platform bring-up across embedded and space-grade targets. The intern works closely with the hardware and embedded teams on RTL development, verification, and hardware debugging, with direct exposure to real space-grade constraints like timing, reliability, and radiation tolerance on flight-representative FPGA platforms.Day-to-day work includes writing and verifying VHDL/Verilog, running simulations, bringing up FPGA boards, working with space communication protocols such as SpaceWire and CCSDS, and documenting designs so they're reproducible for the next engineer. You'll get direct exposure to how a small deep-tech team operates end to end, from early architecture decisions to hands-on debugging, with mentorship from the founding engineers throughout. This is a chance to build real, deployable skills on hardware that actually ships, not a coursework simulation.QualificationsCurrently studying electronics, microelectronics, or embedded systems engineeringSolid grounding in digital design (VHDL or Verilog), FSMs and RTL fundamentalsFamiliarity with FPGA toolchains and simulationComfortable reading datasheets and debugging at the hardware levelComfortable with version control (Git) and structured documentationBonus: exposure to real-time systems, space communication protocols (SpaceWire, CCSDS), or radiation-tolerant/aerospace hardwareComfortable working independently in a small, fast-moving teamFor any questions, reach out to contact@gomyrobot.com
