The ideal candidate should have strong experience with the Frappe Framework, ERPNext modules, Python development and API integrations. The developer will work closely with our internal team and customers to understand business requirements, configure and customize ERPNext workflows, develop custom applications and ensure the platform remains secure, stable and scalable.Key Responsibilities:- Develop, customize, and maintain applications using the Frappe Framework and ERPNext.- Configure and customize standard ERPNext modules based on customer business requirements.- Build custom DocTypes, Workflows, Reports, Print Formats, Scripts, Dashboards, and Modules.- Create and maintain custom Frappe applications and modules.- Develop server-side functionality using Python and client-side functionality using JavaScript.- Integrate ERPNext with external applications, customer systems, and third-party platforms using REST APIs and webhooks.- Work on integrations between ERPNext and our CMMS/Production platform where required.- Customize business processes related to modules such as Manufacturing, Inventory, Stock, Purchasing, Sales, Accounting, and HR, based on project requirements.- Develop and customize ERPNext reports and dashboards for business and operational insights.- Troubleshoot and resolve ERPNext functional, technical, performance, and deployment issues.- Manage ERPNext upgrades, migrations, patches, and version compatibility.- Support ERPNext deployment, configuration, and production environments.- Maintain proper documentation for customizations, integrations, and technical changes.- Collaborate with project managers, customers, and technical teams to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.- Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance after implementation.Required Skills:- Strong experience in Frappe Framework and ERPNext development.- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.- Good understanding of MariaDB/MySQL databases.- Experience creating custom DocTypes, Child Tables, Workflows, Reports, and Print Formats.- Experience with ERPNext REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations.- Understanding of ERP business processes, especially Manufacturing and Inventory Management, is preferred.- Experience with Git/GitHub for source code version control.- Knowledge of Linux servers and ERPNext deployment using Bench.- Familiarity with Docker and cloud deployment will be an added advantage.- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.- Ability to understand customer requirements and convert them into scalable ERP solutions.Preferred Skills:- Experience in implementing ERPNext for manufacturing organizations.- Knowledge of ERPNext Manufacturing flows, including BOM, Work Orders, Job Cards, Stock Entries, and Warehouse Management.- Experience with IoT, MES, CMMS, or production system integrations will be an advantage.- Experience in multi-company and multi-warehouse ERP implementations.- Understanding of ERPNext version upgrades and custom application migration.What We Offer:- Opportunity to work on real-world ERP implementation and customization projects.- Exposure to ERPNext integrations with modern CMMS, production, and industrial systems.- Opportunity to work with customers across manufacturing and industrial domains.- A collaborative environment with opportunities to learn and grow with the platform.Who Should Apply?- Developers with 1–4 years of ERPNext/Frappe experience.- Candidates with strong project exposure, even if they have limited years of experience.- Problem solvers who enjoy building scalable business applications and process automation solutions.
