By joining Wayno, team members help build a smarter, more efficient way for people to get things delivered.Role Description The Freelance Bike role at Wayno is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, the rider uses a bike to pick up and deliver parcels, documents, and other items requested through the Wayno app, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing delivery requests in the app, navigating to pick-up and drop-off locations, confirming deliveries with customers, and following all traffic and safety regulations. The rider is expected to maintain a professional, customer-focused approach, handle parcels carefully, and communicate clearly with the operations team when issues arise. This role also involves keeping the bike in good working condition and adhering to Wayno’s service standards and procedures.Qualifications Strong navigation and route-planning skills within Dubai, with the ability to use GPS and mobile map applications effectively.Good communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with customers and the operations team.Reliable time management and organizational skills to handle multiple delivery requests and meet deadlines.Awareness of road safety practices and traffic regulations, with the ability to ride safely in urban environments.Valid bike riding license (as required by local regulations) and access to a well-maintained bike suitable for daily deliveries.Basic smartphone literacy, including using delivery apps, messaging tools, and real-time tracking features.Physical fitness sufficient for regular bike riding and handling parcels of varying sizes and weights.Previous experience in delivery, courier, or logistics roles is an advantage but not mandatory.Ability to work flexible hours, including peak times, while maintaining dependable attendance and performance.
