ZOVELY is driven by the belief that today’s learners are tomorrow’s innovators and leaders.Role Description The Freelance Educator will design and deliver interactive, on-site lessons in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Web Development for K–12 learners in the United States. This contract role involves preparing age-appropriate curricula, creating lesson plans, and facilitating live classes that balance theory, practice, and project-based learning. The educator will guide students through coding exercises and real-world projects, provide individualized support, and assess student progress through assignments, feedback, and informal evaluations. The position also includes collaborating with ZOVELY’s academic team to refine teaching materials, incorporating student feedback, and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.Qualifications Ability to teach foundational concepts in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Web Development, with experience applying these topics through practical projects.Strength in curriculum planning, lesson design, and classroom facilitation for K–12 learners, including experience creating age-appropriate, project-based learning activities.Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics in a clear, engaging, and inclusive manner.Demonstrated commitment to learner-centered education, including skills in mentoring, coaching, and supporting diverse learning styles and backgrounds.Previous teaching, tutoring, or EdTech experience in STEM or computer science, ideally with live instruction in small-group or classroom settings.Comfort using educational technology tools, learning management systems, and digital resources to enhance instruction and track learner progress.Reliable on-site availability in the United States and ability to work on a flexible contract schedule, including after-school or weekend sessions as needed.Bachelor’s degree in Education, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent practical teaching or industry experience considered.
