By concentrating on professional training, AFTI supports the growth of a skilled workforce capable of navigating change in the financial industry and contributing to its long-term development.Role Description The Freelance Finance and Accounting Trainer will deliver high-quality, instructor-led training sessions to banking and finance professionals, primarily on-site at AFTI’s facilities in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This full-time role includes designing and updating training materials, developing case studies and exercises, and ensuring that content aligns with current industry standards and regulatory requirements. The trainer will facilitate interactive workshops, assess participant performance, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve collaborating with the training team to refine curricula, supporting program evaluation and improvement, and staying informed about emerging trends and technologies in finance and accounting.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Finance and Financial Planning skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into practical, real-world applications.Candidates should possess deep Accounting expertise, including familiarity with financial reporting standards and best practices.Candidates should possess Training and Teaching skills, with demonstrated experience delivering classroom or workshop-based learning to adult professionals.Candidates should possess excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.Relevant academic qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, ACCA) are an advantage.Proven experience in the banking or financial services sector and prior work as a corporate trainer or educator is highly beneficial.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in common financial and accounting software, and a commitment to continuous professional development.Ability to work on-site in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, manage a full-time schedule, and collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients from diverse backgrounds.
