About the roleKalin is looking for a hands-on iOS / Capacitor Engineer to help us optimize and stabilize our existing mobile application and ensure a polished experience across Apple devices.You’ll work with our existing codebase and product team to diagnose and resolve iOS-specific issues, improve performance, and ensure the app is production-ready for continued growth.What you’ll do* Debug and resolve iOS-specific UI, navigation and performance issues* Optimize the app across iPhone and iPad* Work extensively with Capacitor, Xcode and iOS WebViews* Resolve safe-area, status bar, keyboard, scrolling and screen layout issues* Improve loading performance, image handling and app responsiveness* Troubleshoot native functionality, permissions, notifications and external links* Diagnose issues that occur on physical Apple devices but not in web environments* Manage Xcode builds, signing, provisioning and TestFlight releases* Support App Store submissions and resolve Apple review-related technical issues* Collaborate closely with the product team on ongoing fixes and enhancementsWhat we’re looking for* Strong hands-on iOS development experience* Solid experience with Swift and Xcode* Strong Capacitor experience* Experience working with React/web applications and WebViews* Proven experience taking hybrid applications into production on iOS* Comfortable debugging using Xcode, Safari Web Inspector and physical devices* Familiarity with App Store Connect, TestFlight, provisioning and Apple review requirements* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independentlyEngagement* Freelance / project-based* Initial focus: iOS stabilization, optimization and App Store readiness* Potential for ongoing engineering supportIdeal candidate: Someone who understands both the web and native iOS layers and can bridge the two effectively—not just build an iOS app, but diagnose why an existing hybrid app isn’t behaving properly on Apple devices.
